EZ Koat Plus
The EZ Koat Plus is a cost-effective flood coating and priming system for sheet-fed or web applications, suitable for both small and large jobs. It handles various substrate widths with unlimited length and operates inline or offline for flexible workflows. Key features include on-the-fly coating control and speed adjustment via a color touch screen, a Solid State Digital UV lamp for efficient curing and temperature control, and a waste-free design with no re-circulation or tank cleaning. For high-volume production, it integrates seamlessly with large-format printers, using a conveyor system to automate coating, curing, and re-stacking.
At HP’s DSCOOP event, Kompac demonstrates how in just seconds, users can apply high gloss UV flood coating to 20” cut sheets printed on the HP Indigo 12000.

Paper Handling

Using the Kompac conveyer system, printed sheets are automatically sent to the EZ Koat, where they are flood coated, cured and re-stacked.
